Is the DJ insured ? YES
All responsible disco's should carry public liability
insurance.
2) Is your DJ willing to play requests ?
YES
Ask your DJ if he will play requests, you may be surprised
by some of the replies
3) Does your DJ use professional equipment ? YES
It will surprise you how many disco's dont. All our equipment
is professional and tested annually.
4) Does your DJ have backup equipment ?
YES
It is important that your DJ has a full backup system
in the unlikelyevent of system failure.
5) Will your DJ help you plan your party ?
YES
A DJ has the experience to help you with your party requirements.
Always ask if he/she is willing to help.
6) Will your DJ allow plenty of time to set up ? YES
A disco will need a minimum of 1 hour to set up, a DJ
must ensure he allows good time for this in case of any
technical problems.
7) Does your DJ provide a written contract ?
YES
All professional disco's will provide written contracts
and will ask for a deposit. Never book a disco on a verbal
agreement.
8) Will your DJ be suitably dressed for your occasion
? YES
Your DJ should be smart, either in a shirt and tie or
smart casual eg polo shirt with their name on.
9) Does your DJ belong to an organisation ? YES
There are a number of national bodies that a disco can
belong to,the N.A.D.J are one of them. Disco's that are
members are checked to certain standards.
Disc Jockey rates vary, the price you pay will depend
on size of disco, how much experience the DJ has and the
size of the venue.
You can pay between £50 and £1,000 for a disco. The national
average for a disco is about £400 per night.
